Well, a beautiful baby boy and 70lbs later, I had not only a baby to take care of but I also had a BIG FAT BODY to deal with! I went from 140lbs to 210lbs. Well not this time! When I look back on how I acted during my first pregnancy, I could slap myself. I didn't watch what I ate at all. Ok, I take that back. I watched it... and then I ATE it! Everything! Pizza, subs, pasta, ice cream, cookies.... they were the main culprits! I'm not going to lie. Boy, was that FUN!!! I LOVED eating EVERYTHING. I loved eating without the consequences and feeling like it was ok because I was eating for two. However, let me tell you, the pain I felt AFTER I had my baby, wiped out all the fun I had eating in one swoop!
So here I am, just 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I'm already well on my way to a HEALTHY, FIT pregnancy! I learned my lesson. I REALLY did! This time instead of stuffing my face, I will be hitting the gym for cardio and weight training at least 5-6 days a week, eating my healthy diet filled with whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies and lots of lean protein!
I won't be making this site public until I'm in the 12 week mark but thank you for joining me on this journey! I can already see myself bouncing back and feeling great a lot sooner after baby #2!
